Sheepskin rugs
When I was growing up I can remember there being a sheepskin rug on the floor in the entrance way to my home. It was a light brown and so soft and fluffy. I used to love to curl up on it and fall asleep.
Sheepskin rugs enhance baby’s comfort
I loved it so much that when my first baby was born I bought her one to sleep on. She slept on it wherever she was – in the cot, in the pram, or in her car seat. My daughter loved her “sheepie”. Her sheepskin rug helped to keep her snug and warm in the depth of winter and cool and peaceful on those scorching hot summer days.
As she got older the sheepskin rug found a permanent spot on her bed. And now resides on the floor beside her bed. So it is the first thing she feels as she steps out of bed. It is still soft and fluffy and still offers her the comfort it gave her all those years ago.
Pure sheepskin, pure quality
You see sheepskin rugs are made from pure sheepskin. It has the hide on one side and the lamb’s wool on the other. They are soft and luxurious. And they are strong and durable. They are pure quality.
Sheepskin rugs can be laundered as necessary and do not smell or sweat. They do not stretch out of shape or lose that unique plush feel.
Of course my daughter had other rugs and blankets over the years but none that wore as well or offered as much warmth and comfort as her sheepskin rug. Most rugs on the market today are acrylic and poorly made so they do not stand the test of time and they do not offer the same quality or the same endurance.
Your sheepskin rug will always be there offering security, comfort and warmth.
